Hypertension High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is a medical state in individuals where their blood pressure levels are reported to be consistently above normal levels.  When the blood pressure level is just below the systolic count of 120 and diastolic count of 80, it is said to be normal.  When the blood pressure levels are between 140/90 mmHg, the individual is said to be suffering from pre-hypertension.  Further progress of the hypertensive symptoms and effects can be stopped if the individual gets high blood pressure treated.  When the pressure consistently shoots above 140/90 mmHg, the individual is a Hypertension High Blood Pressure  patient.  Hypertension is caused due to a variety of reasons.  Some of the reasons are mentioned below

  • Genetic Reasons – In a lot of cases, high blood pressure is transferred from your ancestors to you.  It is an uncontrollable factor at the time of the disease passing hands.  But the moment you are impacted by high blood pressure, you can take certain precautions to minimize the harmful effects of Hypertension.
  • Behavioral and Cultural Reasons – An individual’s diet, behavior will be more likely to determine if he is prone to high blood pressure or not.  In simple terms, an individual with normal behavior and a simple, balanced diet can reduce High Blood Pressure to a great extent.
HBP causes headache, fatigue, dizziness and nausea amongst individuals suffering it.  Medical analysts also concur that HBP causes mental anxiety and stress to patients.  In severe cases, HBP goes on to impact the kidneys, liver and the heart causing fatal disorders like renal failure, heart attacks etc.  HBP is also said to impact the sensory coordination by causing paralytic attacks amongst individuals.Unlike other disorders, Hypertension  cannot be diagnosed easily by doctors.  In fact, doctors treating individuals for HBP stumble upon the symptoms first which allows them to work backwards to deduce that the individual is suffering from HBP.  The biggest challenge that doctors face in diagnosing high blood pressure is their inability to correlate the symptoms with high blood pressure.High Blood pressure can be treated with the help of drugs like Amlodipine, Atenolol etc.  Many doctors prescribe individuals to follow a balanced diet with reduction in the intake of salt to cure high blood pressure.  A Physiological Therapy approach is also advocated to treat high blood pressure which includes having the individual doing regular exercise, yoga etc.

High Blood Pressure seems to be an extremely harmless disorder at the onset.  However, Hypertension High Blood Pressure is not.   If left undetected and untreated for a long time it can cause fatal disorders to the body.
